We assisted with some food donation at Field and Study Centre for Berario Bunnies Rescue.
We trap & sterilise the many bunnies living on the streets and where possible we provide food and water. There is an alarming amount of rabbit colonies all over Joburg and we have to do something to stop the breeding, interbreeding and suffering of these rabbits living a hard life trying to survive.
Most people who contact us want the bunnies removed, it is very difficult to help without the assistance of the public offering homes or a safe garden where bunnies can be relocated to. We also rely solely on the support and donations from the general public or fund raisers we run from time to time. These bunnies do not always have to be homed at residential homes, they can also go to a church, country club, old age home, office complex, anywhere with garden space to enclose them, and people willing to take care and feed them.
